Manufacturer of titration standards for analytical laboratories. We provide complete product support from formulation development, manufacturing, and packaging of liquid and dry products in bulk and dosage forms, complex container/closure systems, and printed packaging materials.
General Summary
Manages multiple projects that support the development and manufacturing of new and existing products. Responsible for supply chain management and quality control for in-process and finished product. The Project Manager works closely with administrative and operations personnel to ensure training, procedures, processes, and inventory are established for commercial products.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of R&D and manufacturing capabilities of a flexible plant
- Ability to operate effectively in scientific, technical, research-based environments e.g. analytical laboratory, clinical simulation, pharmaceutics, chemical, medical, energy, government/DOD
- Effective project management including planning, execution, and communication of project activities; managing project resources; and communicating effectively with management and operations personnel
- Work closely with the management to prepare quotes and procure goods to support the Master Schedule
- Coordinate material resource planning for research and marketed products and develop supply chains that ensure raw materials are available, economical, and conform to requirements
- Manage vendor relationships, supply chains, and inventory to meet customer requirements and plant objectives
- Work with technical personnel to resolve inventory issues and unplanned downtime
- Develop and implement training programs and train personnel on unit operations, safety, and quality
- Write or revise procedures, reports, and logbooks
- Prepare and review batch records and perform lot disposition
- Manage the company’s ISO certification and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements; revise, update, and maintain the quality plan and all associated documents/systems
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Maintain an organized, safe work environment and assist in production preparation, planning, and execution
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or technical related field and 2-5 years work experience preferred
- Highly organized; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with a focus on results
- Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates initiative, ability to learn, and apply technical and scientific knowledge
- Proficient in computer skills and desktop office products
- Some travel may be required
- Applicant will work within a production plant. Some chemicals and allergens may be present. Mobility requirements and potential exposure to allergens should be considered when applying for this position

- Valid Driver’s License
- May be required to stand or sit for long periods of time while performing duties. Must be able to stand 8+ hours a day
